Shriners
are especially good at celebrating, parties and fund-raising for our Shriners
Hospital for Children and our Children’s Transportation fund.
On
Saturday, October 10th, we hosted our “Special Ladies” at our ‘Club
House on Elm’ with a luncheon to recognize our Special Ladies, who’s Shriner
husbands have since passed away but who have made significant contributions and
support for our Shrine Club and our Shriners Hospital for Children just by
being Shrine Ladies and involved with our activities over many years.
Hosted
by our Club President, his Lady Sandy and many members and their Ladies, the
event was a great success. We hope to
continue holding the event annually, that we may thank our ‘Special Ladies’ for
their support in the past and our appreciation for their contribution toward
our Shrine children and our Sudbury Shrine Club, along with the opportunity to
visit, renew friendships and reminisce about past events.
